Pressing the delete button today on six years worth of blog posts was both invigorating and terrifying at the same time.
Since I started my business blog in April 2011, I’ve not only changed industries (from tech to tourism) but I’ve undergone significant professional and personal growth. After much introspection these past couple months, it became clear that my blog was no longer aligned with my personal brand or professional direction, necessitating a fresh start.
As Socrates once said: “The secret to change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new”. Rather than forcing my past posts to fit into my current narrative, I’ve chosen to wipe the slate clean. I suspect rebuilding my personal brand will be cathartic and I look forward to embracing every minute of the process.
I appreciate everyone’s patience while I update this website and explore outside my comfort zone. I’m humbled by the support I’ve received over the years and hope that my posts will continue to be of interest to you. I look forward to receiving your feedback on twitter and instagram.
